Custom Reporting

Asset Centric Technologies (ACT) specializes in helping you get more value from your CMMS. Let us assist you in transforming the detailed transactions in your CMMS database into meaningful, and actionable, information.

ACT can provide you with reports that show at a glance which Departments or Cost Centers are consuming your resources and what type of work is being done in each area. Our reports show summary level information and offer detail back-up as an option. You can display all the way down to individual labor entries on a single Work Order, if you desire.

ACT can use your historical data to identify troublesome types of equipment, or individual pieces of equipment needing an abnormal amount of maintenance. Thousands of Closed Work Orders can be analyzed to identify the top reasons for failure (RFF) for each type of equipment, letting you easily determine where additional effort will provide the best results.

Not sure what reports you need? Let ACT assist you in developing the Maintenance Metrics needed for you to monitor and improve your operation.

Tired of bland Work Orders that make it difficult for your people to find the information they need? Or, Purchase Orders that are an embarrassment to send to a vendor? Let ACT customize these forms for you.

Requirements Definition

Asset Centric Technologies (ACT) has years of experience in Maintenance and in Information Technology. We can help you define the requirements for a CMMS or Asset Management system that will be right for your company.

Every company has unique needs, and the best way to choose a new CMMS, or to begin a re-installation of an existing CMMS is to formally define the needs and objectives of your organization.

Installing a CMMS is a difficult and expensive undertaking. An upfront focus on your needs and objectives will reduce the chances of choosing the wrong system, or of configuring it incorrectly. You need to be sure that the CMMS is capable and configured properly to assist in improving the Maintenance Process. Your CMMS will need to identify areas where additional effort can produce significant improvements in your overall operation.

System Evaluation and Selection

Asset Centric Technologies (ACT) personnel have evaluated information systems and selected the best fit for over 100 installations. We review a number of possibilities and prepare a "short list" of the best candidates for further evaluation.

The short list of candidates are evaluated and scored as to how well they meet each of the requirements defined in the Requirements Definition phase. A total score is then computed for each candidate by multiplying the score on each requirement by the importance (weight) and summing the results.

Installation Planning

All modern CMMS and Asset Management systems are general purpose systems designed to be flexible enough to be used in a variety of situations. This flexibility ensures that you will be able to continue using the system as your needs change and evolve.

The installation plan is developed by blending the Requirements Definition document with the capabilities of the chosen system. The Installation Plan documents how the system will be configured to meet the Requirements Definitions previously defined.

ACT will insure that the CMMS will be configured properly and that all Requirements will be met. This will avoid the expense and frustration associated with rework after the system is up and running.
