Drill-Down Example
You can start with a summary overview. In this example we first see Downtime by manufacturing line: We can select one of the manufacturing lines to get more details on the Equipment that constitutes the line to see Downtime by individual pieces of Equipment: We can then drill-down another level to see the individual Work Orders associated with the Downtime for a specific piece of Equipment: Group Tree Navigation Example The Group Tree Navigation feature can be used alone or in conjunction with the Drill-Down feature. It uses a Windows Explorer style interface as shown below. Clicking on a Group Tree Navigation entry can do a Drill-Down and take the user to a specific Equipment entry with a single mouse click. |

CMMS EZ Info is a web based reporting system linked to the Datastream MP2 Computer Maintenance Management System. It takes reporting from MP2 to a higher level, enabling users to get much more value from the data they have invested so much time and money to capture in MP2. CMMS EZ Info can be adapted to other systems to meet your reporting needs. CMMS EZ Info reads data from the MP2 database, but does not use any MP2 software, thus it does not use any of the MP2 concurrent seat licenses. CMMS EZ Info is based on Crystal Reports Version 10, and uses the latest charting and graphing technology available, yielding superior reporting results. Since CMMS EZ info is web based, no software need be installed on the client workstation. A web browser is all that is required, making report distribution to anyone who needs it just a matter of providing a logon to CMMS EZ Info. New Functionality CMMS EZ info offers new functionality not previously available in any CMMS system: drill-down capability, and group-tree navigation. Drill-down enables the user to begin with a summary report showing an overview of the entire area being reported. Then, with only a mouse-click, the details behind any number will be presented. This permits a user to go from summary information to detailed Work Order or Parts information with just a few mouse-clicks. Drill-down allows the user to focus on areas of interest without the need to scroll through page after page. Information can be presented in graphical or cross-tab formats, giving more information at the summary level. Group-tree navigation allows the user to click on an index of the Groups used in the report. This click immediately jumps the user to the desired information in the report, eliminating wasteful page-by-page scrolling CMMS EZ Info can roll-up costs based on the MP2 Component Tree between any 2 dates, a capability not available in MP2. This capabilities makes it easy to see the total of complete systems, including all components. New Efficiencies CMMS EZ Info allows you to export reports in a variety of formats, including the Crystal Report format. This allows other users to view the report without having to re-read the data from the MP2 database, conserving the MP2 server resources. CMMS EZ Info also introduces a new CMMS Data Mart, a table that combines MP2 information in a format optimized for reporting. Views of this data mart limit the data to one month, 3 months, 6 months, or one year. These views improve response time and decrease the load of the MP2 server.
