Introduction CMMS EZ Entry facilitates quick and efficient communication between Maintenance and their customers. CMMS EZ Entry also allows Maintenance to document the short procedure repairs that previously have gone undocumented. Now, for the first time, Maintenance will have an accurate and comprehensive picture of all maintenance activity. CMMS EZ Entry simplifies the Work Request and the Work Order. Each form is a single web page. No need to move from tab to tab. CMMS EZ Entry sets a new standard in simplicity and ease of use. CMMS EZ Entry does not replace the CMMS system. It integrates with CMMS and provides a more effective and efficient view into the CMMS database. CMMS EZ Entry provides an Equipment centric view throughout the process. CMMS systems often lose their Equipment centric focus in the Work Request and Work Order modules. The key to CMMS EZ Entry’s efficiency is the ability to present the user with fewer, but more relevant, choices. This eliminates the need to scroll through lots of irrelevant information, searching for the needed entry. The flexibility of RE, along with proper setup of the base CMMS data, allow Maintenance to reduce the CMMS operational cost, and, at the same time, increase the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the CMMS data.
